Job summary

Save the Children in Fairfield, CT is seeking an Associate, Technical Support Tech to provide hardware and software support, document interactions, and recommend improvements. You will resolve issues, evaluate IT systems, and assist staff with networking and AV needs.

Responsibilities include desk-side support, LAN/WAN troubleshooting, and knowledge-base creation, with a focus on customer service and problem-solving in a hybrid work setting.

Qualifications

• Minimum of a High School Diploma or equivalent, plus at least 2 years of relevant experience.
• Demonstrated working knowledge in PC hardware and networking environments.
• Proficient with Active Directory, Intune and Cayosoft; familiarity with anti-malware software and remote support tools.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical assistance and support for staff on computer systems, software, hardware and mobile devices.
• Document interactions and resolutions; contribute to knowledge base articles.
• Assist in evaluating operational efficiency of IT systems and support procurement as needed.
• Support audio/visual and videoconferencing systems and assist in events as needed.
