Job summary

Liberty Science Center is seeking a full-time Technology Support Specialist IT/AV to provide hands-on support for staff, guests, and events. You will diagnose and resolve issues, coordinate with NAKA Technologies MSP, and ensure reliable operation of hardware, software, and AV systems.

You will set up staff devices, manage imaging, and support Tessitura POS and ticketing systems. Strong communication and documentation are essential as you help maintain inventory and assist onboarding.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of hands-on IT and/or AV support experience in a fast-paced, customer-facing environment.
• College degree or equivalent in Computer Science or related field.
• Experience with Windows and macOS, common productivity software, and mobile devices.
• Experience supporting AV systems and with MSP or hybrid onsite/remote support.

Responsibilities

• Provide up to Level 2 onsite IT and AV support for staff, guests, and events.
• Coordinate with the NAKA Technologies MSP and document issues and resolutions.
• Set up, configure, and test computers, phones, devices, and ticketing/POS systems.
• Maintain inventory, perform routine maintenance, and assist in onboarding.
• Deliver user training and develop materials to support adoption.
