Job summary
Lakeside School in Seattle is seeking an IT Specialist I to join the Technology Department in an early-career, apprenticeship-style role. You will provide frontline help desk support to students, faculty, and staff, and gain hands-on experience with device deployment, troubleshooting, and project collaboration.
Under mentorship, you will develop skills across IT operations, systems administration, cybersecurity, networking, and infrastructure support, with increasing responsibility over time.
Qualifications
- Currently enrolled in or recently graduated in an IT-related program.
- Previous help desk or technical support experience preferred but not required.
Responsibilities
- Help Desk & End-User Support: Respond promptly to end-user requests for technical assistance.
- Technology Operations & Projects: Assist with device deployment, system configuration, and routine maintenance.
- Professional Growth & Development: Participate in mentorship and ongoing skills development.
