Answer Digital Limited is seeking an enthusiastic individual to start an IT support apprenticeship. You’ll learn through Baltic Apprenticeships, attending structured blocks and applying learning in the workplace to build a solid IT foundation.

You'll work with a supportive team, gain hands-on experience, and develop technical knowledge while pursuing an apprenticeship qualification. This role offers clear mentorship and a path to a long-term IT career.

Qualifications

• Able to pick up new things quickly and ask questions when unsure.
• Organized and methodical, capable of juggling several tasks.
• Pride in getting issues resolved and not letting problems slip through the cracks.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the first point of contact for IT support requests across the business.
• Diagnose and troubleshoot hardware, software, and connectivity issues for a medium-sized workforce.
• Log, track, and resolve support tickets within agreed response times.
• Escalate complex issues to the IT Manager with clear documentation of steps taken.
• Support remote workers with connectivity, device, and application issues.
• Set up, configure, and image laptops and mobile devices for new starters and leavers.
• Install and update software, drivers, and operating systems.
• Maintain hardware and identify when repairs or upgrades are needed.
• Create and manage user accounts in Microsoft 365 and Azure AD.
• Assist with maintenance of network infrastructure and office connectivity.
• Support IT security posture by flagging risks and applying updates.
