Job summary

Horner & Shifrin is seeking a Support Analyst to join our Information Technology unit. The role delivers high-level customer service while implementing, maintaining, and resolving technical issues across workstation, server hardware and software, and network connectivity.

Requires 1–3 years of experience and strong communication skills. Responsibilities include deploying Windows devices with Intune, supporting Active Directory and Entra ID, and assisting with backups, security, and vendor

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field (preferred, but not required).
1-3 years hands-on experience deploying, supporting and troubleshooting hardware, Windows OS and Windows Applications preferred.
Experience with Microsoft 365 administration (Exchange Online, Entra ID, Intune, Defender) preferred.

Responsibilities

Deploy, enroll, and manage Windows desktops/laptops using Microsoft Intune.
Serve as first point of contact for technical assistance via phone and ticketing system.
Perform remote troubleshooting (password resets, new user/workstation setups, desktop issues).
Prioritize and execute tasks effectively.
Proficient with Windows workstations and servers.
Anti-virus/malware software and remediation.
Monitor backup systems and data recovery operations.
Support hybrid identity environment (on-prem Active Directory and Entra ID).
Support Microsoft 365 Exchange mailboxes, distribution groups, mail flow rules, and spam filtering.
Provide third party vendor management assistance.
Produce accurate documentation for client environments and issue resolution.
Demonstrate learning agility to quickly learn and apply new technologies and concepts.
Travel to other office locations may be required.
