Job summary

TEKsystems is seeking a contract- based IT Support Associate in Green Bay, WI. You will assist with information systems tasks under supervision, learn foundational IT concepts, follow guided procedures, and provide basic end-user support.

This onsite role pays $20.00-$26.00 per hour with eligibility for benefits. You will engage in incident documentation, basic scripting with PowerShell, and learn security stack concepts while collaborating with senior staff.

Qualifications

• Degree or diploma in Computer Science, Information Systems, or Network Security required.
• Microsoft certifications MCP, A+, Network+ valued.
• Equivalent training and experience considered.
• Knowledge of Microsoft security platforms, EDR, IPS, Next Gen Firewalls, IAM, PKI, encryption and tokenization.
• Strong communication, analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to train and advise staff on IT technologies.
• Scripting knowledge with PowerShell.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks in a time-critical production environment.

Responsibilities

• Assist with basic IT planning and routine administration.
• Troubleshoot simple IT issues using checklists; escalate complex problems.
• Provide end-user support and document issues.
• Document and escalate incidents with templates.
• Participate in root cause analysis and suggest follow-up actions.
• Install and configure software per step-by-step instructions.
• Monitor system performance and report unusual findings.
• Support process improvements and share observations.
• Learn scripting for basic automation (PowerShell).
