Job summary

Travis County is seeking a Customer Support Analyst for the Information Technology Division in Austin. You will provide first- and second-level desktop support via remote tools and assist with basic network administration to ensure smooth user operations.

Qualifications include a Bachelor’s degree in a related field and two years of experience, plus a Texas driver’s license. MCP and A+ are preferred; strong communication and customer service skills are essential.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems or a related field with two years of relevant work experience or equivalent.
  • Valid Texas Driver’s License required.
  • Preferred MCP and A+ Certifications.

Responsibilities

  • Provide first- and second-level desktop support through remote applications.
  • Perform basic network administration and troubleshoot communication problems affecting users.
  • Log calls, document issues and resolutions, and escalate when needed.
  • Explain technical problems in nontechnical language for end users.
  • Assist with knowledge base articles and contribute to team success.
  • Support on-site and remote users as part of IT operations.
