Job summary

Goodwill Central Texas is seeking an IT End User Services specialist for a full-time role in Austin, TX. The position handles level 1 tickets, configures hardware, installs software, and travels to worksites as needed.

You will resolve tickets, manage accounts, and support conferencing equipment while maintaining inventory and communicating professionally. Evening/weekend work may be required.

Qualifications

• Experience with Windows 10, Mac OS X and Office 365.
• Experience with Active Directory maintenance and PC hardware peripherals.
• Experience with client PC connectivity (ethernet, TCP/IP, VPN, RDP).
• Experience with antivirus security products.
• A+ Certification preferred.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.
• Ability to work evenings and weekends as needed.
• Valid Texas driver's license with clean driving record.

Responsibilities

• Resolves or escalates Tier1 helpdesk tickets.
• Follows up on outstanding tickets to ensure timely resolution.
• Creates accounts and configures hardware; installs software; imaging computers.
• Upgrades and replaces hardware and software as needed.
• Supports audio and video equipment in conference rooms.
• Maintains internal assets to keep inventory records accurate.
• Communicates professionally in writing and verbally.
• Collaborates with others; performs other duties as assigned.
