Job summary

Methuen Construction is seeking an independent IT Support Analyst to join our internal helpdesk. You will provide hands-on and remote support to employees across the Northeast, handling hardware, software, and connectivity issues while ensuring IT operations run smoothly.

Ideal candidates bring 3–5 years of deskside experience, strong customer service, and the ability to multitask in a distributed environment. The role includes 10–15% travel across the U.S. & Canada.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years hands-on deskside/desktop support in a Windows-based SMB environment.
• Strong customer service with excellent verbal and written communication.
• Ability to work independently and manage competing priorities.
• Solid understanding of basic networking concepts.
• Experience with identity management systems (Azure AD/Entra ID).
• Experience scripting to automate tasks.
• Proficiency with Windows 10/11 and Office 365.
• Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel 10–15% within the U.S. & Canada.

Responsibilities

• Provide deskside and remote support for hardware, software, and connectivity issues.
• Troubleshoot and resolve complex issues following ITIL where applicable.
• Manage device imaging, deployment, configuration, and troubleshooting.
• Administer user accounts and identity management (Azure AD/Entra ID).
• Deliver advanced support for Microsoft 365 services (Exchange, Teams, SharePoint, OneDrive).
• Perform basic networking troubleshooting (Wi-Fi, VPN, DNS, DHCP).
• Automate repetitive tasks with PowerShell.
• Document solutions and update the knowledge base.
