Job summary

Fish & Richardson, a premier global IP law firm, invites an IT Specialist to join the Houston IT Department. You will deploy workstations, provide end-user support, and manage network devices to ensure smooth operations for partners and staff.

The role requires 3+ years in Windows desktop support, Windows 10/11, A+, Network+ certifications, and MacOS experience. Onsite 5 days a week; after-hours on-call rotation; competitive benefits.

Qualifications

• 3+ years’ experience in Windows desktop and MS Office support in a professional services setting.
• Windows 10/11, A+, and Network+ Certifications are required.
• Professional experience working with MacOS is required.
• Strong interpersonal skills and ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical users.

Responsibilities

• Deploy and maintain workstations in the Houston office and handle after-hours requests.
• Manage first and second level end-user support via phone, email, remote and in-person interaction.
• Configure, support, and troubleshoot network devices and enterprise applications.
• Implement and integrate new applications/systems with IT staff support.
• Provide conference room support for video conferencing and device setup.
• Assist with support tickets as a second level escalation point.
• Deliver training programs for new hires, summer associates, and staff as directed.
• Partner with Applications and Software Development to improve usability of tools.
• Participate in an after-hours on-call rotation.
