Job summary

Knife River Corporation in Vancouver, WA is seeking an IT Specialist to support Windows servers, AD, and POS systems. You will configure workstations, patch IT equipment, and travel to company locations for implementation and support.

The role requires problem-solving across hardware and software, and collaboration with the corporate IT team to maintain security standards and network reliability.

Qualifications

• Two years of specialized training or an associate degree.
• One to two years of IT experience.
• Knowledge of computer and network hardware and cabling.
• Knowledge of TCP/IP and working knowledge of DNS.
• Ability to meet the physical requirements of standing, walking, crawling and lifting PCs.

Responsibilities

• Assist in the administration of file directory structure and security on Windows servers with IT team.
• Ensure computers, routers, switches and OT equipment have up-to-date antivirus and patches.
• Provide LAN/WAN network support for local and wide networks.
• Assist in planning, installation and configuration of LAN hardware/software.
• Provide end-user technical support in a timely and professional manner.
