Job summary
Sierra Pacific Industries is seeking an IT Technician to join our on-site IT team in Eugene, Oregon. You will provide immediate hands-on support to employees and operations staff, troubleshoot issues via remote tools, and ensure smooth user experiences.
The role requires staying on site with occasional travel to Noti, OR, and supporting Microsoft, IBM i, and other business software. The ideal candidate has 2 years of computer/network problem-solving experience, plus knowledge of Windows OS,
Qualifications
- Two years of computer and network problem-solving experience.
- Knowledge of Windows Desktop/Server OS, Microsoft Azure, and Active Directory.
- Familiar with TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, and Group Policies.
- Experience with VPN, Wi-Fi, WANs and LANs.
- CCNA or A+ certification recommended.
Responsibilities
- Provide immediate on-site IT support to employees and operations staff.
- Troubleshoot and resolve technology issues via phone or remote tools.
- Communicate with users to deliver positive results and experience.
- Build, diagnose, and repair PCs, laptops, and printers.
- Install and support Microsoft, IBM i, and other software & licensing.
