The Defense Logistics Agency is seeking an IT Specialist (Operating Systems) responsible for overseeing IT operations and compliance. Candidates must have specialized experience relevant to IT management and will support various logistical operations. This role requires strong communication and analytical skills to manage a range of IT architecture needs.
Provides comprehensive technical support and guidance to assigned programs within DLA Information Operations, Program Executive Office, in matters relating to information management issues involving a wide range of Information Technology (IT) management.
Supports planning, installation, configuration, testing, implementation, and management of the systems environment to support the organization’s IT architecture and business needs.
Oversees systems testing, coordinates documentation preparation, and represents the organization in matters related to assigned projects.
Provides occupational, technical, and analytical advice to staff.
Analyzes critical system requirements in response to business needs, risks, and costs.
Serves as an audit liaison between J6T and J62 Program Managers, working closely with other J/D Codes to ensure audit compliance for the Enterprise, and reports status to J6 Leadership.
