Qualification Summary
To qualify for a Lead IT Specialist (INFOSEC), your resume and supporting documentation must support: A. Specialized Experience: One year of specialized experience that equipped you with the particular competencies to successfully perform the duties of the position and is directly in or related to this position. To qualify at the GS-13 level, applicants must possess one year of specialized experience equivalent to the GS-12 level or equivalent under other pay systems in the Federal service, military, or private sector. Applicants must meet eligibility requirements including minimum qualifications, and any other regulatory requirements by the cut-off/closing date of the announcement. Creditable specialized experience includes: Writes, updates, and maintains Instructions, SOPs, Job Aids, Process documents, and/or procedures impacting Enterprise Segregation of Duties, Enterprise Governance, Risk, and Control (GRC), and/or Enterprise Application Security (AppSec). Responsible for end-to-end process and lifecycle of access to systems and applications, establishing, maintaining, and controlling IT systems and application security, network rights and access to logistics systems/applications. Maintenance of the SAP Data Dictionary and database objects relevant to security tasks. Generate documentation for and updates to the existing SAP and other systems and application in the environment and work with IT and business units to modernize the SAP environment. Performs IT cyber security, audit, compliance for access control, application security and segregation of duty functions for DLA information systems across various programs using tools such as System Applications and Products (SAP) software security system, Security Access Control Tool (SCAT), Active Directory (AD), and Account Management Provision System (AMPS) to store and maintain user request documents and System Authorization Access Requests (SMRs). Monitors team mailboxes and responds to customer email correspondence and phone calls promptly. For all positions individuals must have IT-related experience demonstrating each of the four competencies listed below. The employing agency is responsible for identifying the specific level of proficiency required for each competency at each grade level based on the requirements of the position being filled. Problem Solving - Identifies problems; determines accuracy and relevance of information; uses sound judgment to generate and evaluate alternatives, and to make recommendations. Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., Peace Corps, AmeriCorps) and other organizations (e.g., professional, philanthropic, religious, spiritual, community, student, social). Volunteer work helps build critical competencies, knowledge, and skills and can provide valuable training and experience that translates directly to paid employment. You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer experience.
