  • Validate stability, interoperability, scalability, and security of vendor solutions.

About the Role

Join DMV’s Information Systems Division (ISD) as a Vendor Manager Analyst (IT Specialist II) and help drive one of the DMV’s most exciting digital transformation efforts. You’ll lead vendor governance, manage high‑impact IT contracts, and ensure top‑tier performance from key technology partners.


You’ll play a central role in the Digital Experience Platform (DXP), a multi‑year initiative modernizing how millions interact with DMV services. This is a high‑visibility position with room to influence strategy, collaborate across teams, and make a real difference.

What You Will Do

  • Strong knowledge of vendor management frameworks, contract administration, and IT procurement processes.

  • Knowledge of in Agile and Waterfall methodologies.

  • Experience in effectively planning, organizing, directing, and leading complex work of a multidisciplinary staff.

  • Experience in delivering services with a focus on excellent customer service.

  • Ability to communicate effectively verbally and in writing.

  • Ability to organize workloads to accommodate changing priorities and manage multiple assignments concurrently.

  • Experience in working on large California State department information technology projects.
