Job summary

Avancez Assembly in Harper Woods, MI seeks an IT Specialist to maintain and improve the facility's technical systems, ensuring that team members have the technology they need and that company files stay safe.

The role includes technical support for production applications, hardware/software questions, network and security upkeep, system upgrades, and end-user training, with a collaborative, detail-oriented culture.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree or equivalent training; 3+ years of related experience.
Technical certifications, college or equivalent work experience in hardware, programming, application support and operations is desired.
Help desk experience a plus; Hand Held bar code scanning and printing experience a plus.

Responsibilities

Technical support for customized production related applications.
Primary contact for hardware and software related questions.
Support scanning and printing activities for all Team Members.
Assist with the implementation of systems upgrades and security integrity.
Maintain and troubleshoot LAN / WAN and Wireless Infrastructure.
Proactive systems monitoring to include problem identification, escalation and resolution.
Writing process and workflow documentation.
Coordinate hardware, operating system and software setup.
Train end users on hardware and software applications.
All other duties as assigned.
