Job summary
LMT Technology Solutions in Rochester, NY is seeking an IT Solutions Engineer to deliver onsite and remote support for a diverse client base. You will work with a collaborative team of experienced engineers, handling proactive maintenance, issue resolution, and documentation within our PSA platform.
Key responsibilities include supporting servers, workstations, networking gear, and cloud services, with opportunities for growth, certifications, and long-term career advancement in a MSP
Qualifications
- Minimum five years of experience supporting servers, workstations, printers, and network switches.
- Experience with Windows Server, Exchange, DNS/DHCP, SQL Server and AD.
- Experience with on-site and remote IT support in an MSP environment.
- Certifications such as A+, MCP, MCSE, CCNA are a plus.
- Strong documentation habits and ability to manage client expectations.
Responsibilities
- Provide on-site and remote technical support to clients and resolve issues.
- Collaborate with the team to implement IT solutions and preventive maintenance.
- Document client interactions, configurations, and resolutions in the PSA system.
- Respond to escalations and manage multiple service requests within SLAs.
- Stay current with technologies through ongoing professional development.
