Job summary

Leidos in Washington, DC area is seeking an experienced IT Site Lead to join our Digital Modernization Group in support of the AFNCR ITS mission at Joint Base Anacostia-Bolling. You will lead IT operations, project execution, and service delivery across a mission-critical environment serving the Pentagon, JBAB, JBA, and NCR locations.

The role requires 8+ years of relevant experience or 6+ with a Master’s, an active DoD Secret clearance, and on-site work at JBAB; you will manage a $2M+ budget

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree with 8+ years of relevant experience, or Master’s with 6+ years of relevant experience.
• Active DoD Secret security clearance.
• Strong knowledge of desktop support, help desk operations, and IT service management principles.
• Demonstrated experience leading IT support teams.
• Experience supporting IT operations within a DoD environment.
• Must obtain DoD 8140-compliant certification within 90 days of start date.
• Relevant certifications such as CompTIA Security+, CISSP, or equivalent preferred.
• Ability to work primarily on-site at JBAB.

Responsibilities

• Deliver IT services to 3,000+ customers at JBAB.
• Lead a mid-sized Leidos and partner team supporting 8,000+ assets and $5M in project work.
• Oversee day-to-day operations and future planning (Field Services, desktop support, help desk, voice, mobility).
• Direct Site Field Operations and Site Project Managers to meet program requirements and metrics.
• Represent the site in daily syncs and weekly leadership updates.
• Ensure SLAs, response times, and ticket closure meet/exceed targets.
• Lead, mentor, and evaluate team members with autonomy.
• Develop weekly executive summaries for 794th Communications Squadron leadership.
• Manage a $2M+ budget and staffing actions.
