Job summary

Leidos is seeking an experienced IT Site Lead to join our Digital Modernization Group in support of the AFNCR ITS mission at Joint Base Anacostia-Bolling. The role focuses on IT operations, project execution, and technical service delivery in a high-stakes defense environment across the NCR.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or Master’s with relevant experience; more years may substitute.
• Active DoD Secret clearance is required or equivalent.
• Strong knowledge of desktop support, help desk operations, and ITSM principles.
• Experience leading IT support teams in a DoD environment.
• Must obtain DoD 8140-compliant certification within 90 days of start date.
• Relevant certifications (e.g., CompTIA Security+, CISSP) preferred.
• On-site work at JBAB is required.

Responsibilities

• Deliver IT services to 3,000+ customers at JBAB.
• Lead a mid-sized team supporting 8,000+ assets and $5M in project work.
• Oversee day-to-day operations, field services, and desktop support activities.
• Direct Site Field Operations and site Project Managers to meet SLAs and metrics.
• Represent the site in daily operations and weekly leadership updates.
• Ensure SLAs, response times, and ticket closure meet targets.
• Develop weekly executive summaries for leadership.
• Manage a $2M+ budget and advise on staffing and performance actions.
