Job summary

SpaceXAI in Memphis, TN is seeking a hands-on IT Specialist to join our IT services team. This full-time, on-site role provides advanced guidance and support to end-users, resolving complex issues and collaborating with Level 1 and senior IT staff to ensure smooth technology operations.

The ideal candidate has 2–4 years in IT, strong knowledge of Windows/macOS, Office, and enterprise software, plus experience with AD, ITSM tools, virtualization, and cloud services.

Qualifications

• Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field preferred; equivalent experience considered.
• 2–4 years of IT, helpdesk, or related technical experience.

Responsibilities

• Provide second-line technical assistance for hardware, software, and network issues via phone, email, or in-person.
• Diagnose and resolve complex technical problems, including system crashes and network connectivity issues.
• Administer user accounts and access controls (Active Directory).
• Assist with deployment, configuration, and maintenance of hardware and software.
• Monitor IT systems; perform patch management and basic server administration.
• Document tickets with resolutions and escalate unresolved issues to Level 3.
• Maintain IT knowledge base and self-service resources.
• Support IT projects, migrations, or new technology rollouts; mentor Level 1 staff.
• Ensure compliance with IT policies and data protection protocols.
• Provide onboarding and offboarding IT support.
