Job summary

SpaceXAI seeks a hands-on IT Services Manager to lead a world-class team of technicians responsible for end-user support, hardware deployment, and non-standard engineering solutions. The role demands proactive leadership, technical coaching, and the ability to make decisive engineering decisions in a fast-paced environment.

You will recruit, train, and evaluate staff, manage workloads, monitor ticket quality, and collaborate with vendors to optimize IT operations and supply chain processes.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3+ years’ experience in a corporate IT Helpdesk and/or desktop support environment.
• Thorough understanding of Windows and Mac operating systems and applications.
• Strong hardware and software troubleshooting.
• Excellent customer service skills to work effectively with clients.
• Experience with standard client applications (e.g., Microsoft Office, browsers).

Responsibilities

• Recruits, trains, and evaluates IT Services technicians.
• Delegates tasks and develops work schedules.
• Monitors ticket queue to ensure quality of tickets in progress.
• Hands-on; resolves difficult issues; identifies root causes and improves processes.
• Plans, coordinates and supervises project work for IT technicians.
• Provides reports on IT technician activities and issues.
• Resolves, routes, or escalates service requests as needed.
• Collaborates with team to identify process improvements.
• Works with IT Logistics and vendors.
