Job summary

Silfex Inc., A Lam Research Company, invites a Service Desk technician to join our team in Eaton, Ohio. This hands-on role supports end users, configures and upgrades computers and devices, and maintains the IT ticketing system and asset inventory in a manufacturing and office setting.

Ideal candidates have an Associate degree or 2+ years of IT experience, strong communication skills, and proficiency with Windows, Active Directory, Office 365, and network basics.

Qualifications

• Associate degree or 2+ years in IT support or related field.
• Strong written and verbal communications; customer-focused.
• Ability to train staff and document IT processes.

Responsibilities

• Provide Service Desk support to team members and maintain ticketing system.
• Install and upgrade computers, devices, printers, and phones.
• Track and document requests; prioritize user issues and escalate when needed.
• Maintain inventory of equipment, hardware, software, and supplies.
• Assist with on-call coverage in a BOYD environment and participate in special projects.
