Forvis Mazars, LLP is seeking an IT Audit Intern to support our clients in identifying and managing IT risk and improving controls. You will assist in SOC 1/2/3 engagements and IT controls testing under supervision, gaining real-world experience in a top U.S. accounting and advisory firm.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a bachelor’s degree in accounting, information systems, computer science or related discipline.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
• Maintaining a GPA of 3.0 or higher (in major and overall).
• Applicants for positions with Forvis Mazars must be legally authorized to work in the United States; visa sponsorship is not available.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrating an understanding of IT controls associated with applications, databases, operating systems, networks, and reporting tools
• Performing IT general control audit procedures including walkthroughs and testing of IT general controls for areas such as change management, logical security, computer operations, cybersecurity, etc.
• Working with client personnel to gain an understanding of IT processes and controls, obtain audit evidence, and analyze testing results
• Delivering Forvis Mazars' commitment to unmatched client experience through timely and responsive communication with internal and external clients
