Technical Recruiter

We are looking to match a talented candidate with us. The role is location-flexible, with options in NYC, St Louis, Nashville, Washington DC, Philadelphia, San Diego, Cleveland, Seattle, or Phoenix.

You will be part of a team focusing on permanent placements across our client portfolio. Responsibilities include sourcing candidates, assessing their skills, presenting candidates to clients, coordinating interviews, and offering candidates their new jobs.

What We're Looking For
  • 4-6 years of experience in a staffing agency or related full lifecycle technology recruiting in a fast-paced, high-volume environment
  • Undergraduate degree
  • Proficiency with tools including job boards and LinkedIn
  • Excellent written and oral communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills
  • Experience in writing and posting technical job advertisements
  • Ability to parse specialized qualifications for IT resumes
  • Sourcing potential candidates via platforms like Github and Stack Overflow
  • Awareness of technological trends and products
  • Experience with onboarding new hires
  • Promoting our company's reputation as a great workplace
  • Meticulous note-taking in ATS
  • Crafting and sending recruiting emails to passive candidates
  • Conducting pre-screening interviews to assess candidate abilities
  • Using various interview techniques (technical assessments, behavioral questions)
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in IT, Human Resources, or a relevant field
  • Prior experience as a Technical Recruiter
  • Technical background to understand and explain IT job requirements
  • Experience conducting different interview types (phone, Skype, structured)
  • Familiarity with resume databases and ATS
  • Proficiency with sourcing methods like Boolean search and social media recruiting
  • Knowledge of labor laws and HR practices
  • Understanding of full cycle recruiting
  • Strong communication skills, both verbal and non-verbal
  • Excellent organizational and time-management skills
What You Would Do
  • Screen resumes, interview candidates, conduct assessments, reference checks, and make hiring recommendations
  • Follow up with candidates and clients to keep the interview process updated
