Job summary

Insight Global seeks an IT Operations Lead in California to plan, coordinate, and execute a company-wide laptop refresh. You will drive deployment readiness, partner with the service desk, and manage asset lifecycle while reporting progress to leadership.

You will guide stakeholders across IT and business units, ensure timelines are met, and optimize deployment processes for large enterprise environments. This role requires strong communication and program-management skills.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in IT, CS, IS or related field; equivalent experience considered.
  • 5+ years of experience in IT operations, service desk, end-user support, or infrastructure environments.
  • 3+ years of experience leading, supervising, or coordinating service desk or IT support functions.
  • Experience with Windows, macOS, and Linux endpoints.
  • Experience leading laptop refresh programs, hardware deployments, or large-scale technology rollouts.
  • Experience with asset management, inventory control, and device lifecycle management.
  • Strong understanding of service desk operations and end-user support best practices.
  • Experience managing multiple stakeholders, priorities, and project timelines.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills. Experience supporting large enterprise environments.
  • Experience with IT asset management and inventory tracking systems.
  • Experience supporting infrastructure modernization or enterprise IT initiatives.
  • Process improvement and workflow optimization experience.
  • Service desk leadership or operational management experience.

Responsibilities

Skills and Requirements

5+ years of experience in IT operations, service desk, end-user support, or infrastructure environments.
