Job summary

Ravinia Information Technology is seeking a full-time IT Program Assistant to provide first-response technical support to staff. You will install software, set up equipment, and research technical questions while keeping inventory organized.

Some travel to offsite education programs in Chicago is required. Reporting to the Senior System Administrator, you should have experience supporting Windows, MacOS, and iOS, plus troubleshooting end-user issues with Google Workspace, networks, printers, and

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Experience with Windows and/or Apple hardware and software.
• Experience using web-based applications.
• Valid driver’s license.
• Ability to collaborate and work on a small team.

Responsibilities

• Serve as a member of the Ravinia IT support staff
• Provide first responses to employees relative to software and hardware issues
• Optimize desktop computers as instructed by system administrators
• Assist in the deployment of new computer equipment
• Organize and document spare computer hardware inventory
• Document technical issues
• Research and compile reports
• Provide occasional on-premise technical support for off site education programs in Chicago, as scheduled
