Job summary

Ravinia Information Technology is seeking a full-time IT Program Assistant to provide first-response technical support to staff and handle IT duties including software installation, device setup, and inventory management. The role may involve local travel and support at education programs in Chicago.

Reporting to the Senior System Administrator, the ideal candidate has experience supporting Windows, macOS, and iOS, and can troubleshoot Google Workspace, networks, printers, and copiers.

• Capable of lifting, arranging, and connecting computers, monitors, and peripherals.

Responsibilities

• Serve as a member of the Ravinia IT support staff.
• Provide first responses to employees regarding software/hardware issues.
• Optimize desktop computers as instructed by system administrators.
• Assist in deploying new computer equipment.
• Organize and document spare hardware inventory.
• Document technical issues for tracking.
• Research and compile reports on IT topics.
• Handle IT mail and small packages.
• Provide on-site IT support for off-site education programs in Chicago as needed.
• Assist IT team on small projects and tasks.
