Job summary

Ryder System, Inc. seeks a Sr. IT Portfolio Manager to mature the lean portfolio framework across IT, partnering with business units to deliver strategic value.

You will develop value-oriented plans, guide decision-making, and report on budget, schedules, risks, and dependencies to IT leadership. You will foster Lean-Agile practices, coach project managers and product owners, and align investments with organizational objectives while optimizing resource allocation across a multi-million dollar

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Business Management or related field.
• Seven+ years IT Program/Project Management with portfolio management experience.
• SAFe or PMI certifications preferred (e.g., SAFe LPM, PMP, PMI-ACP).
• Experience with Lean-Agile delivery, budgeting, and governance.

Responsibilities

• Mature lean portfolio management across IT to deliver business value.
• Develop value-oriented portfolio planning and reporting standards.
• Lead prioritization, budgeting, and resource alignment across projects and programs.
• Coach teams in Lean-Agile practices and continuous delivery.
• Collaborate with IT Finance for labor forecasting and cost reporting.
• Ensure portfolio performance aligns with strategic goals and ROIs.
