Job summary

Magna Exteriors est à la recherche d’un technicien de support informatique pour répondre aux appels des utilisateurs et configurer des PC, imprimantes et écrans tactiles. Vous effectuerez Maintenance préventive et distribuerez le matériel avec les logiciels et accès nécessaires.

Diplôme AS ou technique requis; expérience hardware et réseau apprécié; maîtrise Windows, Office et AutoCAD, bonnes compétences en résolution de problèmes et en communication.

Qualifications

• Two years applied experience related to essential functions.
• Hardware experience encompassing networking; Ethernet and LAN, PCs, plotters and printers (laser & thermal).
• Software – Windows Operating Systems, Lotus Notes, Microsoft Office, AutoCAD.
• Must have good problem solving skills.
• Must have good math skills.
• Must have excellent computer skills.
• Must work well with others.
• Must have good communication skills – both verbal and written.
• Must have the ability to manage multiple priorities and have a high tolerance for stressful situations.
• Must have strong understanding of business systems.

Responsibilities

• Responds to customer (user) calls concerning personal computers, touch screens, printers, etc.
• Sets up new personal computers.
• Performs preventative maintenance on personal computers.
• Distributes new personal computers to users, ensuring all appropriate software and logins are functional.
• Contacts vendors for support and resolution of issues.
• Maintains an acceptable attendance record and works overtime as required.
• Participates in resolution of computer system problems (hardware or software) as the need arises.
• Maintains a clean and safe work area.
• Participates in department meetings.
• Completes documentation of activities as required.
• Submits cost reduction and innovation ideas.
• Performs other tasks as assigned.
