TEKsystems in Albany, NY is seeking an IT Operations Support Technician with 1-2 years of hands-on IT support experience. You will monitor systems, assist with Windows and PC troubleshooting, and support servers, networks, and applications in an enterprise environment.

This contract-to-hire role requires following IT procedures, documenting incidents, and collaborating with internal teams to resolve issues.

Qualifications

• 1-2 years of IT support, help desk, technical support, NOC, or similar experience.
• Basic experience with Unix/Linux, AIX, VMS, or DOS environments and commands.
• Working knowledge of FTP/SFTP.
• Comfortable troubleshooting PCs, operating systems, applications, and basic network issues.
• Knowledge of Microsoft Office applications.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to follow established procedures while working with minimal supervision.

IT Operations Support Technician

We are looking for an IT Operations Support Technician with 1-2 years of technical support, help desk, or IT operations experience. This is a great opportunity for someone who has a solid technical foundation and wants to gain more hands-on experience supporting servers, networks, applications, and enterprise systems.

Job Type & Location

Pay And Benefits

The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $27.00/hr.

Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
