Job summary

The Defense Logistics Agency (DLA) Careers is seeking an IT Operations Specialist to support ServiceNow ITSM and the J6 IT Service Catalog across multiple locations. The role requires U.S. citizenship and the ability to obtain a favorable suitability determination.

You will analyze IT performance metrics, prepare SITREPs, and coordinate with Enterprise Service Areas to meet targets. You will collaborate with Headquarters staff and Business Relationship Managers to synchronize IT requirements,

Qualifications

Specialized experience with IT service management platforms (e.g., ServiceNow) and IT service catalogs.
Experience analyzing IT performance metrics and operating costs.
Ability to formulate IT roadmaps and policy documents.

Responsibilities

Provides operational and analytical ITSM support via ServiceNow and maintains the IT Service Catalog.
Develops and reports IT performance metrics and data trends.
Researches IT initiatives to ensure compliance with federal laws, DoD guidelines, and DLA policies.
Prepares and briefs operational status reports, including SITREPs and battle rhythm updates.
Collaborates with Enterprise Service Areas and HQ to synchronize IT requirements and efficiencies.
Monitors responses to operational tasks and taskers across J6 directorates.
Participates in inter-agency working groups and plans IT initiatives supporting J6X operations.
