Job summary

The State of Nebraska’s Game & Parks Commission - Agency 33 in Lincoln, NE is seeking a Temporary IT Operations Analyst I to provide expert help desk support, deploy workstation images, and perform basic system administration.

This 11-month temporary in-person role runs Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM, with a one-month break after the period. Requirements include an associate's degree in computer science or equivalent experience, valid driver's license, and sponsorship considerations.

Qualifications

Associate’s degree in computer science or post high school coursework with 2–3 years of related experience, or an equivalent combination.

Responsibilities

Serve as the primary point of contact for the IT help desk.
Receive, log and track user calls related to technical issues and inquiries.
Troubleshoot hardware, software, and network issues for PCs, peripherals, and mobile devices both onsite and remotely.
Assist staff with software installation and new computer setups.
Create, test, and deploy workstation images.
Perform workstation deployment via Configuration Manager.
Assist staff with video conferencing equipment and software.
Install and update computer workstations, printers and peripherals, and client software.
Manage inventory of computer equipment and maintain inventory systems.
