Job summary

State of Nevada's Aging and Disability Services Division (ADSD) is recruiting an IT Manager I to oversee Field Services and Help Desk in Carson City, Las Vegas, or Reno. You will lead IT Technicians and supervisors, set priorities, and ensure delivery of reliable, secure technology services aligned with agency standards.

You will develop operational procedures, manage budgets, and collaborate with agency leadership on IT projects and system upgrades.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, MIS, or related field and five years of IT experience.
• Two years in a supervisory or project manager capacity.

Responsibilities

• Develop and enforce IT operational standards in accordance with policies.
• Provide strategic direction and oversee help desk and field support.
• Develop budgets and justify agency IT budgets.
• Manage staff, assign workload, and evaluate performance.
• Coordinate IT projects, system upgrades, and security practices.
• Collaborate with leadership on IT initiatives.
