Job summary

Silver Dollar City Resort in Branson West, MO, seeks an IT Manager to lead technology strategy and daily operations for a premier resort opening. You will oversee PMS and POS systems, coordinate with hotel leadership, and drive projects from pre-opening through launch while managing budgets and IT staff.

Ideal candidates have hospitality IT experience, strong leadership, and a track record of delivering complex IT initiatives on time.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Hospitality Management, or equivalent education and experience.
• Minimum of three years of experience in IT support or IT management within the hospitality industry.
• Experience leading hotel pre-opening IT implementations is highly desirable.
• Strong knowledge of hospitality systems and operations.
• Strong working knowledge of IT best practices, networking infrastructure, cloud solutions, and data protection policies.
• Industry certifications are preferred but notrequired.
• Proven leadership and project management skills, withstrong communicationand cross-departmental collaboration.
• Ability to solve complex problems quickly and effectively under pressure.
• Ability to prioritize assignments and complete work on time.
• Ability to read, write, and communicate verbally in English as needed to perform the essential duties of the position.
• Ability tomaintaindependable attendance and work assigned schedules, including required overtime, evenings, weekends, holidays, system emergencies, and project deadlines.
• Must successfully complete a pre-employment background check and drug screen.

Responsibilities

• Lead the hotel’s IT strategy and daily operations from pre-opening through post-launch phases.
• Manage the IT pre-opening critical path, ensuring infrastructure and milestones are completed on time.
• Oversee PMS, POS, and other back-of-house/front-of-house software ensuring alignment with standards.
• Maintain communication with hotel leadership and IT teams for project implementations and issue resolution.
• Lead the Property IT Support team and enforce SLAs.
• Track KPIs to improve IT support and operations.
• Collaborate with leadership to address IT challenges impacting revenue and guest experience.
• Maintain knowledge of hotel tech to support operators and troubleshoot systems.
• Oversee IT budgets, expenses, and contribute to capital planning.
• Develop and deliver IT training materials and support for new property openings.
• Conduct regular audits for compliance with industry and company standards.
