Job summary

Silver Dollar City Resort is seeking an Accounting Manager to lead on-site accounting functions, drive accurate close processes, and provide strategic financial support for the pre-opening and ongoing resort operations in Branson, MO. You will collaborate with the Director of Finance and cross-functional teams to ensure revenue and expense accuracy aligned with Hearts hospitality culture.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting or related field preferred.
• Minimum 3 years of accounting management experience preferred.
• Proficient in Microsoft Word, Outlook, Excel, Teams, and PowerPoint.
• Strong knowledge of GAAP, USALI, hospitality accounting systems (Opera, JDE, Workday, Oracle, ProfitSword, Hotel Effectiveness) and internal audit procedures.
• Experience with budgeting and forecasting.
• Ability to manage sensitive information with discretion.
• Excellent leadership, interpersonal skills, problem solving, team building, communication, and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate on-site accounting functions with the Director of Finance.
• Oversight and training of Accounting/Finance staff, coordinated with Director of Finance.
• Ensure a timely and accurate period-end close, including production of financial statements.
• Assist staff with GL functions, including Accounting Period and Year End closing.
• Complete all Balance Sheet and Bank reconciliations (including treasury and credit card) accurately and in a timely manner.
• Provide timely analysis and financial support to Finance and Resort leadership and divisions.
• Coordinate budget processes and preparation of budget review packages.
