Job summary

Boston Harbor Hotel seeks an IT Manager to oversee all technology infrastructure and systems, driving innovation to enhance guest experiences. You will collaborate with hotel departments and service partners to ensure reliable, secure technology, support operations, and lead IT projects from planning through execution.

Responsibilities include managing networks, servers, POS and PMS integrations, and maintaining security, backups, and business continuity.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in information technology or related field (or equivalent experience).
• 3–5 years IT experience; hospitality tech preferred.
• Experience with hotel technology systems (PMS/POS).
• Strong IT infrastructure, cybersecurity, data privacy, backups, and business continuity knowledge.
• Ability to lead priorities, coordinate projects, and manage vendors.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate daily IT operations to support associates and guests.
• Serve as primary contact for department leaders on tech requests and incidents.
• Manage and troubleshoot networks, servers, databases, phones, and workstations.
• Monitor system performance and coordinate resolutions with stakeholders and providers.
• Coordinate installation, configuration, and integration of hotel systems (PMS, POS, guest services).
• Plan technology projects, schedules, testing, and post-implementation follow-up.
• Maintain IT procedures for access control, security, backups, and continuity.
