Job summary

Consigli Construction seeks an IT Intern to support the Support and Jobsite Operations teams by troubleshooting and resolving technical issues. This role offers hands-on experience in IT system management, customer support, and multitasking within a fast-paced, complex operational environment.

The internship requires pursuing an IT degree with a focus on Windows, Office, and networking basics, and includes collaboration across hardware/software installation, backups, and security practices.

Qualifications

• Currently pursuing an Associate’s or Bachelor’s Degree in Information Technology (IT) or a related field.
• Proficient with Windows operating systems and Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
• Basic knowledge of computer setup, peripheral connectivity, and IT infrastructure.
• Understanding of networking concepts and protocols (TCP/IP, DHCP, VPN).
• Some experience with Active Directory Domain Services and IT service management tools or ticketing systems.
• Familiarity with system updates, backups, cybersecurity best practices, and basic programming languages like HTML/CSS (advantageous).
• Prior IT-related work experience preferred.
• Commitment to maintaining confidentiality and adhering to security best practices.

Responsibilities

• Work directly with our Support/Jobsite operations team and assist in technical problems/issues as needed.
• Work directly with our Support and Jobsite Operations teams to assist with resolving technical problems and issues as they arise.
• Assist in the installation, configuration, and maintenance of hardware and software systems to ensure smooth IT operations.
• Support the IT team with system updates, backups, and implementation of security protocols to protect data integrity.
• Possess a customer service mindset and demonstrate a passion for technology and troubleshooting.
• Manage multiple projects efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining strong organizational skills and great attention to detail.
• Document technical procedures and provide end-user support and training as needed.
