Job summary

Worthington Enterprises is seeking an IT Intern to gain hands-on experience in information technology, enhance professional skills, and build business relationships.

The role involves hardware setup, software troubleshooting, inventory management, documentation, coding assistance, and IT administration tasks, with opportunities to collaborate across teams and learn real-world IT operations in a Columbus environment.

Qualifications

• Strong communication skills, both written and oral.
• Positive attitude.
• Works well in a team environment.
• Basic knowledge and experience with PCs and MS Windows.
• Experience with Microsoft Office tools (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
• Familiarity with network equipment (routers, switches, wireless access points, etc.)
• At least one year of programming experience (can include coursework).

Responsibilities

• Setup and install computer equipment (computers, monitors, network equipment, etc.), which may involve moving computing equipment between locations/buildings
• Assist with managing technology inventory
• Assist end users with technology related requests/issues and general troubleshooting
• Assist with technical documentation
• Assist with developing code
• Assist with Project Management and general IT administration tasks
