Job summary

PROCON is seeking a motivated IT Intern to join our Information Technology team in New Hampshire. This role is designed for individuals starting their IT careers who want hands-on experience in a fast-paced environment.

You will support day-to-day technical operations, assist with help desk tickets, hardware deployment, software updates, and security practices while learning to troubleshoot and communicate effectively with employees across departments.

Qualifications

• Currently pursuing or recently completed IT/CS degree or equivalent training.
• Fundamental knowledge of hardware, OS, and MS Office.
• Interest in developing IT troubleshooting skills.
• Strong communication and teamwork.
• Willingness to learn and follow guidelines.

Responsibilities

• Assist in responding to help desk tickets and learn basic support.
• Troubleshoot hardware, software, and connectivity issues under supervision.
• Support desktops, laptops, printers, and mobile devices.
• Set up and configure new workstations.
• Document IT processes and troubleshooting steps.
• Adhere to IT security policies and patching practices.
• Maintain IT equipment inventory.
