Job summary

Cognizant is seeking a Desktop Engineer Intern to deliver hands-on onsite IT support at our Hooksett, NH offices. The role requires 20 hours per week, onsite, with an anticipated October 2026 start for a 9–12 month period.

You will configure new desktops and printers, resolve basic hardware issues, and work with SOPs to improve support processes. This paid internship offers real-world experience on a 5-day on-site schedule.

Qualifications

• Currently enrolled in a 2-year or 4-year accredited college or university pursuing a STEM major.
• Availability to work part-time, 20 hours per week onsite.
• Able to travel between HQ and Retail locations as required.

Responsibilities

• Provide onsite hardware-related support for desktops, laptops, and peripheral devices.
• Provide onsite printer support for various printer types and consumables.
• Configure new desktops, laptops, printers and peripherals per SOPs.
• Review and update SOPs; create new SOPs for defined processes.
