Job summary

Cognizant seeks a Desktop Engineer Intern to provide hands-on, onsite technical support, ensuring end users stay productive and devices run smoothly. You will work with the IT support team and client staff to resolve hardware and printer issues and configure devices per SOPs.

This is an onsite role in Hooksett, New Hampshire, requiring 20 hours per week (5 days, 4 hours daily). The internship runs 9–12 months starting October 2026, at an hourly rate of $25.00, with travel between HQ and retail

Qualifications

• Currently enrolled in a 2- or 4-year college pursuing a STEM major.
• Able to work part-time, 20 hours per week onsite.
• Strong attention to detail and reliability.
• Willing to travel between HQ and Retail locations as needed.

Responsibilities

• Provide onsite hardware support for desktops, laptops, and peripherals.
• Handle onsite printer-related issues and requests.
• Configure new desktops, laptops, and printers per SOPs.
• Review and update SOPs and knowledge base.
• Create SOPs for new processes and procedures.
