Job summary

Emplify Health by Bellin seeks an IT Instructional Designer to join our IT Applications team. This role will develop and deliver Epic training programs for end users and IT professionals, ensuring clinicians and staff can effectively use Epic workflows to support safe, efficient patient care.

Location includes hybrid work options in WI/MI with on-site requirements in Green Bay, WI, and occasional travel to La Crosse, WI. 40 hours/week, Monday–Friday, no weekends or holidays.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in IT, Business, Healthcare or related field or equivalent years of experience and education
• 2+ years of relevant work experience
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Excellent presentation and facilitation abilities
• Ability to develop clear, user-friendly documentation and training materials
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
• Experience creating e-learning or instructional materials is a plus
• Existing Epic certification preferred
• If not Epic trainer certified, complete Epic training within 60 days of hire

Responsibilities

• Designs learning solutions targeted at employees, students, or clients of the organization.
• Collaborates with subject matter experts to ensure content is accurate and thorough.
• Utilizes multiple formats (print, audio, visual, multimedia) and selects the appropriate format for the audience/content.
• Evaluates training results and updates programs to meet goals.
• Handles moderately complex issues and refers more complex issues up the chain.
• Possesses solid working knowledge of subject matter.
• May provide leadership, coaching, and mentoring to staff.

Description

Emplify Health is seeking an IT Instructional Designer to join our IT Applications team. In this role, you will help create and deliver engaging Epic training programs that support end users and IT professionals across the organization.

You'll partner with technical teams and business stakeholders to develop learning solutions that improve technology adoption, user confidence, and overall system effectiveness.

This role ensures clinicians and staff are equipped with the knowledge and skills needed to effectively use Epic workflows in support of safe, efficient, and high-quality patient care.

Job Specifics:

Location:1920 Libal St, Green Bay, WI 54301 | Hybrid work options for candidates in WI or MI only. Regular need to work onsite for support initiatives. Must be willing to work onsite Green Bay, WI and occasionally in La Crosse, WI.
FTE Status:Full-Time 1.0 FTE (40 hours/week)
