Job summary

Sysco Northeast Rdc is seeking a Support Specialist I to assist the Sysco Technology teams with IT infrastructure support across workstations, laptops, mobile devices, printers, network gear, and servers. The role includes training staff, contributing to policy development, and acting as the local escalation contact for IT issues.

Qualifications

High school diploma and at least 5 years of end-user IT support experience.
Excellent communication, organization, and problem-solving skills.
Proficient troubleshooting of desktops, laptops, mobile devices, Windows and Office.

Responsibilities

Prioritize support calls using the enterprise ticketing system with frequent updates and escalations.
Procure new equipment and supplies for workstations and peripherals through Corporate IT Purchasing.
Imaging workstations using standard images and ensuring license compliance.
Maintain current system security policy and device discovery/patch updates.
Provide on-site support, train staff on the enterprise ticketing system, and assist with Order Entry applications.
