Job summary

Hardwire LLC is seeking an IT Support Specialist to lead the design, deployment, and maintenance of the company’s IT infrastructure, networks, servers, and endpoints. The role encompasses security, backup strategies, and application management to ensure reliable technology services across the organization.

Candidates should have strong Windows expertise, network fundamentals, and a practical approach to IT operations, with preferred certifications and a focus on cybersecurity.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in IT or CS preferred.
• Industry certifications (CompTIA A+/Network+/Security+) valued.
• Proficiency with Windows environments and Office Suite.
• Experience with server, network, and information security basics.
• Hardware troubleshooting across PCs and peripherals.

Responsibilities

• Design, manage, and maintain the company network, server, and workstation infrastructure.
• Implement security technologies and policies to protect assets.
• Develop continuity and backup procedures for operations.
• Manage Email, Active Directory, and network apps.
• Monitor and maintain network performance and installed hardware.
• Specify equipment and services for infrastructure needs.
• Document configurations and procedures for setup.
• Plan and implement additions, deletions and major infra changes.
• Advise on IT policies and process improvements.
• Configure and maintain web and FTP servers for access.
