Job summary

Wohlsen Construction Company is seeking a HelpDesk Technician to deliver reliable IT support for team members and to improve the use of technology across the organization. You will diagnose and resolve issues, deploy equipment, and manage projects while maintaining security and knowledge bases.

Ideal candidates have 3+ years in a help desk, strong Windows/Office proficiency, and excellent interpersonal skills.

Qualifications

• Associate’s degree or equivalent combination of education and/or experience.
• 3+ years of experience with technology troubleshooting.
• 3+ years of experience in a customer service/help desk environment.
• Proficiency with Microsoft operating systems, Microsoft Office software, computer hardware, and mobile devices.
• Strong interpersonal skills are necessary for interaction with Team Members.
• Have a valid driver’s license to support remote offices and job sites.
• On-call, overtime and weekend availability as needed.
• Able to work without supervision and handle multiple tasks.
• Maintains confidentiality and complies with security policies.

Responsibilities

• Support Wohlsen Team Members in their use of technology systems.
• Manage technical requests through the Helpdesk ticketing system.
• Accurately track and manage technology inventory.
• Setup and deploy technology equipment for offices, project sites, and Team Members.
• Provide technical assistance and advice to all Team Members.
• Support deployment of technologies managed by the Technology team.
• Lead assigned technology projects with tracking and reporting.
• Maintain and contribute to IT knowledgebase.
• Setup and maintain video conference and AV equipment.
• Coordinate internal IT training for new technologies.
• Attend seminars and workshops to inform technical recommendations.
• Mentor coworkers and foster growth.
• Research and recommend software/hardware upgrades for performance.
• Other duties as assigned
