Job summary

McMillan James Equipment Company in Grapevine, TX is seeking an IT Helpdesk Technician with 2–4 years of hands-on support to manage daily IT operations across four Texas locations.

You will support Windows 10/11, Microsoft 365, Azure AD, SharePoint, Teams, and Dynamics/ERP environments, build standardized PC images, manage hardware, and handle end-user issues. Occasional overnight travel to Austin/San Antonio is required.

Qualifications

• 2–4 years of active end-user and enterprise technical support experience.
• Experience navigating Windows 10/11, Microsoft 365, Active Directory/Azure AD, SharePoint and Teams.
• Strong communication and empathy when supporting non-technical staff.
• 100% in-office work with consistent attendance.
• Occasional overnight travel to Austin/San Antonio.

Responsibilities

• End-User & Systems Support: primary point of contact for hardware, software, user accounts, and network issues across local and remote offices.
• Microsoft Environment Administration: manage accounts, access permissions, and basic configurations in Microsoft Entra ID (Azure AD), Microsoft 365, SharePoint, Teams, and ERP environments.
• Workstation & Hardware Management: build, deploy, and maintain standardized PC images; onboard/offboard and refresh hardware.
• Peripherals & AV Setup: troubleshoot printers, scanners, and conference room AV setups.
• Infrastructure Support: assist with basic network cabling and disaster recovery maintenance; support cloud-hybrid infrastructure.
• Operational Continuity: maintain processes and documentation; occasional overnight travel.
