Job summary

Links Healthcare LLC in the San Diego area is seeking an IT Helpdesk Technician to join our growing team. The role involves configuring, setting up, and troubleshooting laptops and endpoint devices, and providing first-level support for hardware, software, and network issues.

Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent; associate degree or IT certification preferred.
Experience in IT helpdesk, desktop support, or configuration role.
Hands-on with laptop hardware and OS installations (Windows, macOS).
Strong knowledge of hardware, operating systems, and peripherals.
Familiarity with security policies, firewalls, and encryption.
Excellent communication and problem-solving skills; able to work independently.

Responsibilities

Configure, setup, and troubleshoot laptops and endpoint devices for end-users.
Provide first-level technical support for hardware, software, and network issues.
Set up new laptops with OS, software, and drivers.
Configure network access and security compliance (VPN, firewall).
Maintain inventory and track configurations and installations.
Document user requests in the IT ticketing system and resolve them.
Collaborate with IT team for rollouts and escalated issues.
Ensure devices meet security policies and encryption requirements.
