Job summary

Doña Ana County is seeking an IT Support specialist to deliver high-quality resolutions and support for service requests across county systems. You will troubleshoot, repair, install, and maintain computers, basic networks, printers, and related equipment while adhering to ITIL standards.

The role requires at least one year of technical PC experience, a high school diploma, and a valid driver's license; CompTIA certifications are preferred.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• One year of experience in a technical computer position.
• Valid driver's license and acceptable driving record.
• A+ , Network+ or other CompTIA, Microsoft, or industry standard certifications preferred.
• Must pass NCIC background and driving record check.

Responsibilities

• Respond to service requests using the IT Ticketing System.
• Diagnose hardware and software issues and perform repairs.
• Configure users onto the county network and maintain service levels per ITIL.
• Install and maintain hardware/software with licensing compliance.
• Provide training and support to county staff.
