Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED
• Two (2) years of work experience as a first or second responder performing set-ups, maintenance, or monitoring of an information system including network, operating systems, and user applications.
• *Any equivalent combination of related education and/or experience may be considered for the above requirements.

Responsibilities

• Conducts an assessment of IT problems on-site or remotely; troubleshoots hardware, software, and peripheral equipment; escalates as needed; serves as a contact for higher-level staff.
• Performs routine information system security duties; applies updates and patches; enforces network and data security standards.
• Coordinates with IT divisions to implement upgrades, patches, and backups; procures and tests hardware/software; documents installation parameters.
• Performs QA activities; tests and troubleshoots system issues; executes testing plans to validate functionality.
• Installs and maintains computers and peripherals; monitors performance; tests hardware/software configurations; conducts basic maintenance.
• Installs OS/software, performs backups and upgrades; connects computers to networks, printers, scanners and other devices.
