Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Enrollment in an Information Technology degree/certification program.
• 1–2 years' experience with personal computers in a technical/desktop support role.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Project).
• Ability and desire to work in a team-based environment.
• Excellent communication and leadership skills.
• Strong attendance and work record.

Responsibilities

• Respond to end-user support requests via help desk line, walk-ups and online submissions.
• Log calls and user requests into help desk software and update items as priorities change.
• Perform preventative maintenance on technology across Grand Rapids facilities.
• Provide level 1 computer support on-site and remotely as needed.
• Develop and maintain asset management tracking.
• Build and rebuild computers, install software packages for deployment.
• Assist with installation, troubleshooting and maintenance of hardware and devices.
• Conduct data analysis, metric tracking and project management as required.
